Dr. Grace Kwon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Colorado with a BS in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from UCSF School of Dentistry. She then went east to complete her pediatric dentistry residency at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, as well as a clinical fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston, where she served as Chief resident.
Dr. Kwon is dedicated to providing the highest quality dental care by teaching at Stanford Hospital/Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital where she works with children (who have cleft lip/palate, pending organ transplant, special needs, and cancer) and the emergency department (for dentoalveolar trauma).
Dr. Kwon is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry and is a recipient of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Richard C Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3% nationwide on her written board exam.
Dr. Kwon takes her time to build relationships by communicating openly with patient and parent. She takes great joy in finding the best way to communicate with her patients.
She is married to Eric Kwon, a general dentist in Palo Alto and they have 2 sons. In her free time, Dr. Kwon enjoys baking, cooking, and travelling.
Dr. Gerber’s roots here in Menlo Park are deep, having graduated from Oak Knoll, Hillview and Menlo Atherton High School. He attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for his undergraduate work.
He was accepted at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Upon completion of his DDS he entered a two-year residency at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital and Dental School, earning a specialty certificate in Pediatric Dentistry, as well as a Master’s Degree in Pediatric Dentistry from Loma Linda University Graduate School. He established his dental practice in Menlo Park in 2000.
About Dr. Brigid Trent DDS
Dr. Brigid Trent is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Originally from Chicago, Dr. Brigid completed her undergraduate studies at Marquette University where she earned a BS in physiological sciences and a BA in Spanish language and literature. She subsequently received her DDS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
After dental school, Dr. Brigid completed her General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in San Francisco and advanced her surgical and prosthodontic skills while serving a population of patients for whom she cares deeply. She practiced general dentistry for two years and then went on to Northwestern University to complete her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She was awarded the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3% nationwide on her written board exam.
Dr. Brigid is the daughter of an educator, and so it seemed natural to serve as a full-time Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, as well as her local dental society.
Dr. Brigid absolutely loves her interactions with her pediatric patients and their families. She provides an uplifting, nurturing and compassionate environment to enable her patients to have lasting positive dental experiences. She is married to David Trent, a pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgeon. They have three young children (two of them being twins). Outside of dentistry, Dr. Brigid enjoys traveling and having new adventures with her family, playing any sport with a ball, and having dance-off parties with her kids at home.
